Local 49 and the Local 49 Health & Welfare Fund will host online information meetings via Zoom in November 2026 to discuss changes to self-pay rates and discounts for future pre-Medicare retirees.
Health Fund participants recently received notice of the changes, which affect participants who have not yet retired but are considering retiring before age 65.
Current retirees on the Blue Cross Blue Shield Senior Gold plan are not affected by the changes.
