Eligible children and stepchildren of members, or those who have a guardian who is a member, may have their tuition for the Operating Engineers Pathway paid by Local 49.
This benefit is available to Minnesota and North Dakota high school students who are homeschooled, attend a private school, or attend a North Dakota public school that has denied payment for enrollment. The benefit does not apply to Minnesota public school students in grades 9-12, because their program fees are covered by the state, so participation is free to them.
