Our 100-year anniversary is coming up on June 10, 2027, and we’re working to produce a history book telling the story of Local 49’s first century!
We’re asking members and employers to submit photos for possible use in the book or other media.
We want older photos of members and projects, as well as images of significant projects and events throughout our history, including significant recent projects.
We’re asking you to pick and submit your best shots. Submitting a photo doesn’t guarantee it will be used.
If you have access to a high-quality scanner, you can submit photos and information online using the form. If you don’t have access to a good scanner, feel free to bring the photos to one of our union halls during business hours or a union meeting, and we can scan them in for you.
Please spread the word to other members and retirees who might have photos to share.
