If you’re a Local 49 member in good standing who would like to attend this conference for the first time, you may apply for a taxable stipend of $2,000 to help cover the cost.
What is it?

How do I apply?
To be considered, you must fill out an online application no later than Sunday, May 31. In selecting applicants, the Executive Board will consider factors such as geographic distribution, inclusion of apprentices and journey workers, why applicants want to attend, and more.
How does the process work?
You will be responsible to register for the conference and book your own lodging, transportation, etc. Local 49 will cut a check for the stipend upon your return from the conference. You will receive a Form 1099 from Local 49.
