Hockey season is here, and Local 49 is proud to announce it's now an official partner of the Minnesota Wild.
"On the ice or in an excavator, it takes grit and teamwork to thrive," Local 49 Business Manager Ryan Davies said. "Like the Wild, we're deeply committed to our communities across Minnesota and North and South Dakota. From highways to skyscrapers, Local 49 members build our communities and earn a family-supporting wage doing it. This is a career worth having."
The two-year partnership includes a permanent dasher board for Local 49 at all Wild home games, a presence in television and radio broadcasts, and a presence in the arena during all events throughout the year.
Local 49 is excited to create awareness of the trade, build union pride, and recruit both new and experienced operators — all while supporting Minnesota's home team.
