Local 49 has endorsed Congressman Tom Emmer for reelection in Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District.
“Congressman Emmer has been an advocate for family-supporting, union jobs, including his unwavering support of Davis-Bacon wages, which ensures highly skilled workers get paid what they earn,” Business Manager Jason George said. “His strong support for energy projects like the completion of Line 3 and the mining projects on the Iron Range, which would deliver critical domestic sources of copper, nickel and other minerals, should be commended.
