MN Senate passes bill to dedicate auto parts sales tax to roads and bridges

With members of Local 49 advocating at the Capitol, the Minnesota Senate passed a bill Thursday, April 28, to dedicate 100% of the sales tax paid on auto parts to road and bridge projects.

 
Senate File 3086 passed on a bipartisan vote of 59-7. The bill now moves to the House for consideration.
