The International Union of Operating Engineers Local 49 filed an intent to strike notice with the city of Minneapolis two weeks ago after our membership voted down the city’s latest offer. We have since been back to the bargaining table with the city and our members will vote again on January 5, 2022.
We will not be striking before that vote takes place.
