Nate Runke

Nate Runke is a Regulatory and Political Affairs Coordinator.  He became a member in 2012 while working for the City of Rochester and worked as a Public Sector Business Agent during 2017 and 2018. He has a B.A. in History from UM-Twin Cities, a B.S. in Forestry and a Master of Data Science from UW-Stevens Point. His role centers around researching future construction projects in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota and advocating for the use of signatory contractors and Union labor on these projects through legislative and regulatory processes. He also researches and communicates changes in legislation and regulations that affect Local 49 and its membership.
